Guti would like to join Arsenal if his career at Real Madrid comes to an end his agent has announced. The Spanish international is set to leave the Bernabéu after failing to hold down a regular place in the side and has told the club that he will move if the right offer comes in. Both Tottenham and Everton are reported to have registered their interest with Madrid, but Guti's wish to go to Highbury looks to have quashed any hopes the duo had of landing him. "After Real Madrid he would like, if England was to be his destination, to play for Arsenal," the player’s agent, Zoran Vekic stated. "He likes their style, the team spirit they have and the fact that they have a great coach." Celta Vigo are in talks with Manchester United over the possible transfer of Brazilian midfielder Kleberson to the Spanish club. "We’ve had an offer from Celta Vigo," United manager Sir Alex Ferguson told the club’s television station MUTV. "I think chief executive David Gill is talking to them but that’s all I know at the moment," added Ferguson. Kleberson, 26, moved to Old Trafford from Atletico Paranaense for £5.93 million two years ago, but has failed to make an impact, having been dogged by injury and unable to recapture the form he showed as a member of Brazil’s 2002 World Cup winning team. Wolfsburg have agreed a $10 million deal with Atlético Madrid for Bulgarian international Martin Petrov, the German club has revealed. The Spanish club has been pursuing the 26-year-old foir several weeks and a deal looked imminent once he informed Wolfsburg of his intention to leave. Now the club's director of sport, Thomas Strunz, has announced that a deal has been struck and Petrov will travel to Madrid to undergo a medical before joining up with his new team-mates.
Julio Baptista has insisted that he wants to stay at Sevilla despite offers from both Tottenham and Arsenal and quashed rumours that he has signed a pre-contract deal with any club. The highly-rated Brazilian has been the subject of bids from both north London clubs but, after both were turned down, the player has explained that he is keen to stay put for at least another season. Sevilla are determined to hold on to one of their prize assets, but know that they could lose him, for a much smaller fee than those currently on offer, next summer under new Fifa guidelines. Baptista wants to remain in Spain though so that he can earn an European passport and that desire, allied with his familiarity with La Liga, looks to have put paid to any move to England. Both Barcelona and Real Madrid have also expressed an interest in the former Sao Paulo player, but he wants to stay in Sevilla, where he has a contract until 2008. "There is interest from other clubs, but I am happy here and that counts for a lot," he said. "I am back training and ready for the next season. "Next August I will receive my papers to become a Spanish citizen, which means I will no longer be seen as a foreigner, and that is very important to me. "At no time has anyone heard me say that I want to leave Sevilla. I have heard rumours about other teams, but I have never said that I want to move nor that I do not want to stay at Sevilla. "I have adapted to the football here and to adapt to another style would be difficult. I know how the game is played in the Spanish league. "Any move would depend on me. If it is something that both clubs agree on then we would have to see, but if it is not right for both sides then it does not interest me in the slightest." Baptista then revealed that he had spoken with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, but insisted that it was a brief chat in which he outlined his reasons for wanting to stay put. "It was very quick, we got to know each other and nothing more. I told him about the possibility of me receiving the passport and how important that is. "There are other clubs that are interested, but I am back at Sevilla and feel relaxed and am looking forward to spending another season here. "I could not have signed a pre-contract with any team, because I would be sanctioned by Fifa. The only contract I have is with Sevilla."
Andriy Shevchenko has denied reports that are indicating he is close to a Chelsea move after his recent row with Carlo Ancelotti. “I’m not going anywhere. Well, I don’t want to go anywhere else than here. I love Milan and Milan loves me. That’s all I need to know to decide,” said the Ukraine striker. Shevchenko also revealed what he always tells his ‘friend’ Abramovic when the Chelsea surpremo tries to lure Sheva to the Bridge. ”I always tell him, ‘Roman, we can’t speak about these things. First of all I have to respect the club. If Milan don’t want to sell me, I won’t leave’,” he said. On Monday, the 2004 Ballon D’Or was caught by video cameras arguing with Ancelotti over the fact that he won’t be going on the team’s US tour because of a small operation he needs to perform on his head. The Milan coach thought Shevchenko had already performed the op last month. Some journalists believe the argument was pre-planned as to prepare the ground for Sheva’s departure to Chelsea, even though everyone involved, from Milan, to Shevchenko, to Ancelotti, are playing the whole issue down instead of adding more fire to it.

Wonderfully politically incorrect, the incorigble flirt & hopelessly unlucky in that same department is our hero Johnny Bravo. There are some really classy quotes that this blond haired romeo has passed out from time to time : You smell kinda pretty, wanna smell me. I bet your name is Mickey, cause you're so fine.
