Is anyone still listening to Backstreet Boys? If you are, growup please!
Shania Twain - as much as I love her & worship her & like her songs -did u have to colaborate with that jerk in your song "Party For Two"?

Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith, is now a GRANDFATHER!!! A few days ago, his daughter Liv Tyler (the actress) gave birth to a son. Will "Falling In Love Is So Hard On the Knees" & "Love In An Elevator" give way to "Rock A Bye Bye" & "Grandpa's Got A Story To Tell"?

I am going to tell you about one of my musical regrets. A couple of years ago, through the web I found out about Big Sugar & their singer/songwriter/guitarist Gordie Johnson. Big Sugar is rounded out by drummer Al Cross, multi-instrumentalist Kelly Hoppe (aka Mr. Chill), guitarist Mojah, and bassist Garry Lowe. If I have to nominate one band that does not (or did not since they have split up) get the popularity or credit that they thoroughly deserve, it's Big Sugar.

They released 5 albums from the early 90s onwards with the last one "Brothers & Sisters Are You Ready?" coming out in 2001. That was when I got introduced to the band from an online friend from Calgary. From the first Gordie Johnson riff I was hooked. I have about 24 mp3s of the band, no tapes or cds as none are available in stores over here. That is such a shame. Their music deserves much more accolades & awards & recognition that they have got. They splitup on 31-Dec-2004 after a New Year's Eve concert in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I am not sure of the others but Gordie Johnson, a blues man at heart has stated that after a long break he will probably do solo stuff that is more titled towards traditional blues. Hope he continues to burn brightly for eternity.

I don't know if it made news outside of India & Brazil but the death of football player Cristiano Junior send shockwaves over here. Not just the sports world were stunned when Junior after scoring his second goal of the match was stuck on the face by the opposing team's goalkeeper. The Brazilian player fell to the ground and died, apparently of a cardiac arrest. A player in the prime of his health dying on the field is tragic.

Going to get my own domain name soon. It's been so long since I have been planing this and I often though if it was worth it, but I think it is. I should have something in my name that is registered & easy for others to access. Geocities & Angelfire have been my stays for too long. It is time.
