While I was going to work yesterday, a group of kids from some college in Tamil Nadu got onto the same bus I was travelling in, at Palarivattom. There were about 10 boys and 3 girls, all around 19 to 21 years of age. The quite Saturday afternoon was shattered when these idiots got in. The girls were ok, they were chatting quitely and smiling at the comments their friends were making. But the guys were so fucking annoying. Several elderly passengers were so shocked at the noise that they got off early instead of bearing the racket and getting down at their intended stop. These guys were so loud, shouting stupid remarks at each other that sounded so dumb. I always thought that Tamilians were so loud, but scolded myself by saying that it was a cliche and only the labourers spoke like that. You know, they talk so loudly among themselves with no regards of others and even sing songs in the bus. But these kids were all educated and on their way to getting degrees. What the fuck is their problem!! One elderly gent kept looking at the guys when they were making all this noise and he asked me "Are you all on a college trip?" I looked at him aghast and pleaded "Please sir, don't group me in with them". From my expression he understood that he had mistaken my age & he understood that I was a local. He then said to me that although he wasn't going to say anything to them, they still out to know better and not create a nuisance of themselves. I agreed; I don't mind people having fun, but don't bother others. Act like you are a civilized human being. And don't fucking bother me!!
