I guess the biggest news right now is the explosion of the shuttle Columbia and the death of it's crew. The head of states of numerous countries and digniteries of the world are sending their condolences to the US President and to America. The astronaut most highlighted is the Israeli guy, it being his first trip to space and the first time an Israeli has been in space. But my heart goes out to Kalpana Chawla, whose name seems kinda lost in the reports that I saw on CNN. She was a pride of India and my sorow is for her family.
Anyone seen videos of the all girl classical/techno beats quartet BOND? Noticed something odd about their performances? A bit too much, eh? Too many smiles, too many flirtatious looks for the sake of the camera, too much makeup. After seeing a live performance show of theirs on the cable tv channel Rosebowl, I can say that their shows r just like their videos. Some dancers, some lights, these 4 girls on stage, pouting facesm smiles every single time they look at each other. A little too 'fake' for my taste. Would their music be as popular if they all looked like Tracy Chapman?
And if anyone heard the new single from Las Ketchup, it is as bad as their first song is catchy.

Song of the day - in honour of the Columbia crew - "Leavin' On a Jet plane" - John Denver
