Tony Blair has won the the elections for a 3rd time, a feat only matched by Maggie Thatcher. It seems that he won because the British public are scared by the threat of terrorism and they feel that since George "dubya" already in for another term, he along with Blair will keep them safe. That's just my opinion. Several world leaders send their congratulations to Blair on winning his 3rd term. Despite winning the election Thursday, Blair's Labour Party enjoyed only a narrow margin and its parliamentary majority shrank -- widely seen as punishment for his unpopular support for America in the Iraq war.

Paula Abdul is in the middle of a scandalous allegation by a former contestant on American Idol who claims that the singer helped him advance in the competition, helped him select songs and also had an affair with him. Abdul had denied the allegations against her but there is talk that she may not be chosen to return for the next season of the show.

There's a program that is shown in Asia on Discovery's Travel & Living channel called The Thirsty Traveller in which host Kevin Brauch goes all around the world tasting different beverages like wine, beer, whiskey etc etc and gets to learn the recipies & customs of those countries he visits..........does this have a great job or what?!!
