In London, Chelsea may have to settle their row with Tottenham Hotspur over Frank Arnesen by selling Glen Johnson and Robert Huth to their North London rivals. England right-back Johnson and Germany centre-half Huth are now understood to be part of a cash-plus-player compensation package being put together to end the feud before Friday’s noon deadline. That might turn out to be a blessing for Chelsea since they have just signed defender Asier del Horno from Spanish club Atlectico Bilbao.
