Nikos Dabizas is reported to be heading to Belgium to play for Anderlecht. The 31-year-old defender is said to have held talks with the club’s management and the two sides are close to agreeing to a deal. Dabizas is now free to move to a club of his choosing after his contract with Leicester ran out recently. The Greek international had previously turned out for Newcastle and before that for Olympiakos in Greece. Dabizas, a member of Greece’s Euro 2004 winning side, had played in England for eight years, five seasons as a member of Newcastle and the last two as a Leicester player.

Luis Figo has for the time being put to rest all the speculation surrounding his possible departure from the Galacticos as he declared his desire on remaining with the Spanish giants, even though he still left a slight hope for his suitors. “My intention is that of staying with Real Madrid, even though you never know what the future might hold.” Liverpool were considered to be in pole position to sign the talented midfielder, despite Inter’s good relationship with Real Madrid.

Michael Ballack is ready to postpone talks over a new contract at Bayern Munich after admitting that he would be interested in joining Real Madrid. The German international has been targeted by the Spanish giants to beef up their midfield, with Arrigo Sacchi believing that he would be the perfect foil in midfield alongside either Pablo García or Thomas Gravesen. Ballack only has one year left on his contract at Bayern and Madrid are ready to make the Bundesliga champions an offer, according to Spanish daily Marca. But Florentino Perez has insisted that his club will pay no more than €10million for the former Bayer Leverkusen player as he could be available on a free transfer at the end of next season if he does not extend his contract. Manchester United are also keeping tabs on Ballack's situation, but he stated that he intended to stay in Germany until after next year's World Cup finals when their interest was made public. Despite not being guaranteed a starting place every week at the Bernabéu, Marca claims that Ballack has alreay made it clear that he could be tempted by a move to Spain this summer. After holding talks with Madrid while he was still with Bayer Leverkusen, Ballack knows that this will be the last time that the Spanish outfit will make a move for his services as he celebrates his 29th birthday in September. In order to prepare for an opening offer, Madrid are keen to settle the future of Walter Samuel, Guti, Luis Figo and Michael Owen, with the first two likely to pushed out of the club to make room for the German star.

People are so Ga-Ga over the new Harry Potter (or as I like to call him Hari Patel) book, it's like the second coming of Elvis(no thank you very much)! I have never found out what the heck is so enticing & thrilling about a bunch of kids who know a few magic tricks and go in search of adventures & fight evil. I mean that is for kids isn't it? Why do adults like it so much as well? Oh well it's better than Boybands, I mean really people what the fuck were you thinking when you bought N'Sucks or Borezone or Backshit Bozos!!! And although all those silly girls were swooning whenever the members of a boyband pointed in their direction while singing a particularly tender lyric, I was laughing cause most boyband members are gay!
