The Andromeda Ascendant XMC-10-284
One of my fav tv series, one I cannot miss is Andromeda. I absolutely love Sc-Fi series. And this one is really good with good story lines & episodes. Plus when you add, to the excellent special effects, the truly beauiful Lexa Doig, you have a must see.
Steve Bacic can be seen as Telemachus Rhade, a hard-drinking, wheeler-dealer Nietzschean and ex-High Guard officer on the hit Sci-Fi Channel TV series Andromeda.

Guitar legend Domenic Troiano, hailed as one of the greats of the Canadian music scene, has lost a battle with cancer at the age of 59. Diagnosed with prostate cancer a decade ago, Troiano - once the lead guitarist for The Guess Who - had been in declining health for about seven months prior to his death. He died at his home late Wednesday night.
Here are 10 reasons why Domenic Troiano was cool:
1. He got his start with Robin Lane And The Disciples as a teen.
2. Troiano formed The Rogues with fellow Torontonian singer Roy Kenner.
3. Kenner left The Rogues and was replaced by George Oliver. The band was renamed The Mandala and became a powerful soul-influenced act, known for their legendary live performances.
4. Mandala had big hits with "Opportunity" and "Love-itis" in 1967.
5. Troiano again hooked up with Kenner and a couple of ex-Mandala bandmates to record a jazz-influenced record under the moniker, Bush. Troiano successfully sued the '90s British band featuring Gavin Rossdale, forcing them to temporarily be called Bush X in Canada. Eventually, he relented and gave them the copyright to the name.
6. The guitarist joined The James Gang in 1972 with Roy Kenner, replacing Joe Walsh, and recorded two albums, Straight Shooter and Passin Thru.
7. Troiano replaced Kurt Winter and Don MacDougall in The Guess Who in 1974. He recorded and co-wrote all of the music with Burton Cummings on the band's last two albums, Flavours and Power In The Music, the former included the hit single, "Dancin' Fool."
8. He recorded three albums as Dominic Troiano Band with Roy Kenner (again), most notably, Fret Fever, which featured the hit song "We All Need Love."
9. Troiano scored a trio of late night Canadian-produced CBS dramas: Night Heat, Diamonds (featuring DaVinci's Inquest star, Nicholas Campbell) and Hot Shots, for a total of 153 episodes.
10. His other credits include playing on albums for Diana Ross, Joe Cocker, Donald Fagen, David Clayton-Thomas, Etta James, Jean-Michel Jarre, Ronnie Hawkins, Three Dog Night, James Cotton and Long John Baldry.
