AS Roma have confirmed the signing of 28 year old Congolese striker Shabani Nonda. Nonda, who was set to sign a deal with Roma's rivals Juventus, failed a medical at the time and hence the signing didn't go through. This will also mean that Roma's mercurial striker Antonnio Cassano will now move to Turin and become a Juventus player. Meanwhile in Holland, PSV Eindhoven coach Guus Hiddink has given the green light to South Korean winger JS Park to negotiate with Manchester United, if the player so desires. For the past few weeks Park has been linked with United as the ENglish club has been suitably impressed with the skills he showed in PSV's runup to the semifinals of the Champions League.
