I remember my grandmother once saying that (it's an old saying or some old wives'tale or some stupid belief) dogs are people (she actually said brahmins or nambuthiris) who have commited sins in their human life. They were reborn as dogs as a punishment of some kind. This seems to be a belife among older folk over here, I dunno. Anyway, you know what I said to her? I asked her "What did the poor dogs do to deserve this blatant lie & insult"? I also told her that I thought that it was probably the other way round; dogs who did bad things in their doggie lifetime were cursed to be reborn as HUMANS! Think about it, dogs aren't evil. There are no Edi Amin dogs or Hitler dogs or Osama dogs or Saddam dogs or Bush dogs!!
