Back to work, seems people do need me & did miss me. Poor Lakshmi was also sick with viral fever and she was down for the count for a week. Nothing really interesting happening at work. I had a peice of cake for some celebration at the office, not sure what for. Why do all cakes taste like sugary shaving cream? It didn't help the image process that the flavour of the cream was vanila white.

Ok, back to this girl at the office I like so much. Her eyes mesmerises me so much, I think she caught me staring at them. And those who know me know that I usually stare at a pair some centimeters below the eyes normally!! But this girl...her eyes are so captivating!

I also just finished chatting with my friend & collegue Sreeja. It was so nice, haven't seen her since she got transfered to Trivandrum. We chatted for about 2 hours offering interesting anecdotes & gossiping about stuff at the office. I really miss her as a friend.

The Scorpions - the very name of the band conjures up images of great concerts, energetic rockers & sentimental ballads. Although lately the quality of their songs, especially the rockers have gone down a couple of notches, they can still kick some considerable ass. I can remember the first time I got introduced to the music of the German juggernaut - back in 1987. A cousin of mine had a tape of some their best hits. Pretty soon I was hooked & I was a fan for life. 3 years later, almost the entire English music loving world were converted to fans when the Scops released the anthemn for a new world "Wind of Change". What a song! They have put out a few albums since then. Here is a latest pic of the band with a new bass player. The Scorps have had many members leaving for one reason or the other & that is a sad part of longevity as a band.
