My new watch (well bought it 5 months ago) is creating problems for me. Ever since I got it, I have developed an alegric reaction to it. My skin around my wrist itches and it feels so disgusting. I applied some ointment on it a few weeks back and it went off, but now it's back.
Several kids have all the latest phones with GPRS & a lots of them with camera cell phones as well. While you have me with the dull Nokia 1100 with neither of the facilities. Makes me wanna hurl the phone into the depths of an erie looking abyss that has no bottom.
Babe of the week - KATHERINE KELLY LANG
Queensryche was one of my favourite bands - they still are to a certain extent. I became a fan back in 1991 when I saw a live clip of the Seattle based rockers' huge hit "Silent Lucidity". Soon I bought their critically acclaimed "EMPIRE" album (from which the aforementioned song is taken from) and the next year bought their previous release, 1998's "Operation Mindcrime". Then in 1994 came another pleaser "Promised Land" which had 3 of their videos in heavy rotation on the music channels. I couldn't imagine the group getting any better; they were on top of their form. Then 3 years later, despite a good review from several magazines, they put out "Hear In the Now Frontier" which put me off. The only song I really liked (and I have to admit that it is one of their best songs) is a track that ends side A - "You". After that Queensryche have gone down the depth of the rock world. I try to keep track of the band, but they end up playing clubs with former top 40 bands of the 80s. While listening to their Greatest Hits album, which I just bought the other day, I have to say that the guys deserve a better position in the music world. If they can just get back to the old glory days. Also their founding guitarist, Chris DeGarmo left the band, so that might be a missing ingredient.
