It's been 2 daya since Shawny died, I have not really gotten that fact into my system yet. I keep expecting her to pass by our house veranda and place herself at the doorway. Or to see her on the front lawn, sniffing at the flowers the way she used to. My dad came back and even he is feeling the loss. My dad & my dog had a special bond, it was like she knew he was my dad and gave him a certain kind of "respect" but she knew that she could get her way with him and played him like a violin at times. Several people have offered my condolences on her passing away, everyone who knew her knew that she was a gentle dog, very affectionate and never bit anyone.
Saw some of the Champions League semi-finals. As expected AC Milan won 2-0 over PSV Eindhoven, but the recently crowned Dutch League Champions were unlucky not to have gotten atleast a goal from the match. They battled back very bravely and the scoreline really flatters Milan. That makes me think that the return leg in Holland will be a real tough test for Milan. And in the other one, Chelsea were held to a goaless draw by Liverpool. That was a shock as now it
makes Liverpool the ones with a better chance of progressing to the final. Liverpool have been a Jeckle & Hyde kind team in terms of performance, playing brillantly in Europe in the Champions League and losing to teams they should thrash in the EPL. Anyway, the return legs next week will be very interesting indeed.
