Went out today to buy me a new shirt in order for the company party on Saturday. Will get to see the old gang again. So I went to Men's Studio & selected a dark ash-purple colour shirt (hard to describe the colour but it feels so good). The whole operation took exactly 20 minutes from when the guard opened the door for me to when I left the same door. As mentioned earlier I do not like spending much time shopping....that is for the girls. After that I went over to Paico but did not find anything of interest there except VCDs that I am thinking of buying - one was Sudden Death & the other is Star Trek - The Search For Spock. I might get them later this month. Then it was onto the used book sales exhibition next to Paico. So many books but they don't keep then in alphabetical or catergorical order, hence finding what you wat is a pain in the neck! Literally, cause I had to strain my neck so much to read the titles. I ended up with two books for just Rs.75 a piece - both by Anne Rice Interview With The Vampire & Merrick.

As I was leaving my house and walking towards the busstop, a tiny kitten came crying over to me. She was like complaining you know, maybe it was hungry. I have never seen it before but it was like she knew me from some other life. She came over and I stroked her with the edge of my shoe and she seemed to like it. Then she plonked on the side of the road and was using my show for a pillow and meowing gently. I wanted to take her home and feed her milk & rice. If I hadn't been going out to town I would have. I am a sucker for small animals like kitten & dogs. Finally I had to drag myself away from the little monster. A man in a car was passing by and he stopped to ask me if the kitten was lying on the road after being run over. I told him no and gave him the story. I think he wanted to take the kitten with him as well. It really was a very cute little thing. I will look for it on my way back home.
