I saw 'Ginger Snaps' & 'Mulholland Drive'. 'Ginger Snaps' is a Canadian made film about two outcast sisters living in a suburban town and who want to get out. They do a scholl project about death, and shoot each other in various positions with fake blood over them and stuff. Things take a bad turn when Ginger gets attacked by a werewolf and she starts sprouting hair and a tail and gets her (late) period for the first time . The younger sister 'Bridget' (played well by Emily Perkins) try to find a cure for her sister by recruiting a local weed grower (Kris Lemche) who ends up being killed by 'Ginger turned Werewolf' (played by the sexy Katherine Isabelle) at the end. 'Bridget' finally has to kill 'Ginger' in order to save herself, but I have heard that 2 sequels to the film have been arranged, with the same female actors. Anyway, it is good, not the usual teenage slasher movie and has some good special effects. The tail sceans were real enough and the werewolf was not bad as well.
'Mulholland Drive' was a movie I wanted to see on HBO because of it's excellent trailer shown for days in advance. I was dissapinted, because I did not get the film. What happened! (If someone reading this has seen the movie and understood the plot, please email me). Maybe because I also changed channels frequently to see a rerun of 'Star Trek Voyager' (it was a great episode) is why I did not get the film. But the actress who plays 'Rita / Camila', Laura Elena Harring, is so hot, really sexy. Nice rack and butt.
