Finally got to see 28 Days Later on cable last night. Watching this film at like 1:30 am is very creepy. How in the world did they get British cities to look so empty and look like a real plague did indeed descend upon them and devoid them almost completely of life. The makers of the movie did an excellent job and I think that this movie will go down in cinema history as a classic.

This movie brings to life (funny I use that term since the movie is about death & dying) the fear of scientists that a deadly plague that makes humans behave like zombies once they get infected and go on killing the ones that are not infected. Some if the scenes are disturbing and I won't forget the images for a long time. One funny section is when four of the non-infected humans go shopping in a large supermarket (with some silly music in the background) and they have a jolly good time since no one is around and the store is empty except for them. One of the guys leaves his credit card on the counter as they exit with their bags & bags of eatables & drinks. I though that was hilarious.
